On 12 January 2004 LAWs, the Local Authority Websites National Project, released the latest Local Government Category List (LGCL), (see http://www.esd.org.uk/standards/lgcl/1.02/) an important piece of work aimed at making the task of locating online resources easier for citizens and local authority officers alike. Nqcontent has taken a step forward in fully integrating LGCL to provide the following benefits for local government.
